Silvana completed her undergraduate degree in physical education at Wilfrid Laurier University and received her physical therapy degree from Queen’s University in 2001 where she was a varsity lacrosse athlete. She continued post graduate studies with McMaster’s contemporary medical acupuncture program and with the orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy association. Her clinical focus is on treatment of various peripheral and spinal injuries that are related to orthopedics and sports. She also has additional training in concussion and vestibular rehab. In addition in 2011, she began taking courses to become certified in treating women, men and children with pelvic health conditions that involve bowel and bladder issues. She also enjoys training, coaching, and playing lacrosse and is involved with the Team Ontario women's field lacrosse program. Furthermore, she is also involved with the McMaster Physiotherapy program as a preceptor for their students.
Steven completed his bachelor of Kinesiology at Redeemer University in 2013 and pursued his Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario, in which he completed in 2016. He has completed courses in both manual therapy , soft tissue release and in 2016 completed the McMaster contemporary medical acupuncture program to help further his skill-set. He focuses on neuro-musculoskeletal injuries in a wide variety of populations including post-surgical, geriatrics, neurological disorders and sports related injuries. Aside of work he enjoys being active, playing basically any sport, traveling and spending time with his friends and family.
Jay is a Physiotherapist Assistant, Certified Personal Trainer, and Athletic Trainer. He completed his degree in Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2009. His passion about health and fitness made him to come to Canada where he did his diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Fanshawe College, London, ON in 2012. During his days at Fanshawe College, Jay got the opportunity to work as a Varsity Athletic Trainer for various sports teams like soccer, basketball. His duties included providing immediate treatment of sports injuries, performing protective taping and maintaining medical records. Jay has wide variety of experience working as Physiotherapist Assistant in various Long Term Care homes, OHIP clinics, and Sports Medicine clinics. Jay takes great pride in assisting Physiotherapists develop, implement and execute exercise prescription for variety of population starting from athletes to elderly. Jay is also a Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology Certified Personal Trainer (CSEP-CPT) and motivates his clients to set and achieve their fitness goals. Outside of his work, Jay loves to spend his free time with his family and friends. He also loves to watch and play sports like soccer and cricket.
Amanda is an Athletic Therapist who recently moved back home to Canada from the United States. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from James Madison University in 2011 and went on to earn her Master's Degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University in 2013. Amanda has experience working with all age groups, but has spent the majority of her career working with young athletes. On her off days you can find her outside running with her two dogs or spending time with her family.

Lorrie is a retired Clinical Research Manager from McMaster University Faculty of Health Sciences in the department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact. Lorrie’s research background includes clinical trials in various areas including cardiology thrombosis, cancer and most recently neonatology/developmental pediatrics. She completed both her undergraduate and masters degrees at McMaster University and quickly found her passion was in medical research. Lorrie is an avid obstacle course racer having competed since 2015 and qualifying for the OCR World Championships 2 years in a row. She spends most of her leisure time fitness training and participating in team sports individually as well as together with her active family members. She is excited to be bringing both her office and research skills to the team!
